In preparation for Halloween, we carved a jack-o-lantern as a family.
Jason and Mommy dug out the yucky stuff, and apparently we tasted some of it, too.
Daddy drew some faces, and we all voted on the one we liked the best.
Then, Daddy started carving away, while Jason helped put the "hat" on and off.
Pretty soon we had a pretty happy looking jack-o-lantern.

The next day was Halloween, and as soon as the first group of trick-or-treaters came to our door, Jason was ready to run out and join them! He couldn't wait to get his costume on!
Daddy was Cap'n Hook and Jason was Peter Pan. Don't they make the cutest pair!!?
They had many a sword fight, and I'm sure those will continue for a very long time.

Brent says everyone thought he was Robbin Hood, so by the time he was finished, he was telling everyone he was Robbin Hood...a little confused.
He did great and was friendly to everyone he saw. This poor boy wants little friends so bad!!
Maybe next year, we'll take him trick-or-treating with a group of little kiddos. This year, he had a great time out with his Daddy, Cap'n Hook. And his sword gave him bravery to face every scary door he came to. No scary masks could scare him when he had his sword in his hand.
After they were finished, Jason helped us give candy out to the rest of the kids who came to our door. He ran to the door every time and was so excited to hand out the candy! It was so cute. My little boy is really growing up!!

Love those costumes. Brent's is hilarious. And Jason is a cutie. The pumpkin pictures are nice and spooky for Halloween because there's a floating hook in them!! haha.
Oh my goodness. Nana's are the best! I'm so glad that she got to come and be best buds. Brynlee informed me that grandma's hand is better than moms hand. Multiple times. It hurts. But don't you feel eternally indebted to someone that does your dishes and laundry in the same week? And he was definitely the more good looking peter pan I've seen. You 2 make the cutest kids. Keep it up and let's keep up our timing on kids together too. Oh and Brent's costume wins the dad award. What dad is that cool? Sword fights and matching (movie wise). 10 points Brent.
